Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations applicants must have Credit Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including:

Plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
WASSCE, Applicants, KTU Degree Courses Admission Requirements
West African Senior School Certificate Examination applicants must have Credit Passes (A1 -C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including:
- English Language,
- Integrated Science, and
- Mathematics,
Plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
GCE ‘O’ and ‘A-Level Applicants, Admission At KTU
Applicants should pass at least three (3) subjects with a grade of D or better at the Advanced Level in relevant subjects.
Also, applicants must have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including:
- English Language,
- Mathematics, and
- Science or Social studies
Applicants From Technical Institutions, Admissions At KTU
You must obtain a credit pass or better in:
- English Language,
- Mathematics,
- Integrated Science and
- Relevant elective subjects.
Remember that applicants who fail their core Subjects but pass the electives may take a two-month bridging programme before formal admission into the school.
Applicants With Technician Certificate, Admissions At KTU
Applicants with Motor Vehicle Technicians II (MVT II) certificates may also gain admission into level 200.
With passes in Motor Vehicle Technicians III (MVT III), you may also get admission into Level 300.
HND Applicants, Admissions At KTU
HND Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Frist, HND graduates with the requisite specialization, will enrol at level 300.
- Alternatively, HND graduates with requisite specialization will enrol at level 200 (Mechatronics)
- Remember that, Applicants with University Diploma in the relevant subjects will register at level 300.
- Ordinary Technical Diploma (OTD) will enrol at level 200.
Technician Applicants, Admission At KTU
Also, applicants who hold Part II and III Technicians Certificate in EET or Radio & Television with a pass in English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science can apply for admission.
