Wassce applicants seeking admission to read degree programs at the Cape Coast Technical University should possess these requirements:
Applicants must obtain credit passes or better (A1- C6) in three (3) Core Subjects, namely:
- English Language;
- Mathematics;
- Integrated Science
Furthermore, applicants must also obtain credit passes or better (A1 to C6) in three elective subjects relevant to the programme of study.

Likewise, SSSCE applicants must have at least credit passes or better (A- D) in all their Core Subjects,

- Integrated Science or Social Studies
General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level
Applicants should pass at least three (3) subjects with a grade of D or better at the Advanced Level in relevant subjects
