Wassce applicants seeking admission to read degree programs at the Valley View University should possess these requirements:

Applicants must obtain credit passes or better (A1- C6) in three (3) Core Subjects, namely:

  • English Language;
  • Mathematics;
  • Integrated Science

Furthermore, applicants must also obtain credit passes or better (A1 to C6) in three elective subjects relevant to the programme of study.

 

SSSCE Applicants, Admission Requirements At ATU

Likewise, SSSCE applicants must have at least credit passes or better (A- D) in all their Core Subjects,

  • English Language;
  • Mathematics; and
  • Integrated Science or Social Studies

Also, applicants should obtain at least three credit passes (A-D) in their relevant Elective Subjects.

Applicants with a grade of C6 or better in three core subjects and any three (3) of the following electives (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and Elective Mathematics will get admission to read the BTech Medical Laboratory Science Programme at level 100.

 

GCE Certificate Holders, Admission Requirements At ATU

GCE Advanced Level applicants must meet these criteria: First, you should pass at least three (3) subjects with a grade of D or better). 

Also, you must apply with credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including: 

  • English Language, 
  • Mathematics, and 
  • Science 

Remember that general arts students can replace Science with an Art subject.

 

Mature ApplicantS, Admission Requirements At ATU

Applicant must:

  • must be at least 25 years at the time of application.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of working experience in the health sector.
  • have post-secondary school training in laboratory science or allied health science 
  • must pass entrance exams and interview by the university.

 

Requirement For Other Bachelor of Technology Programmes (TOP UP)

Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate in a relevant field with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division.

  • Non-Citizen Ghana card (for International Applicants)
