Reopening Date For UDS – University For Development Studies
As a matter of fact, the government of Ghana wants to make sure that the universities in the country adhere to all covid-19 protocols, as universities prepare to reopen.
Now, a lot of arrangements are in place to ensure the university’s preparedness for the 2020/2021 academic year. So when is UDS resuming school?
Indeed, it absolutely a relief to know the the government of Ghana is already vaccinating about 20 million Ghanaians. Interestingly, students are among the first target group to receive their vaccines.
If all goes on well, then when expect that the university academic calendar will return to normal soon.
In fact, UDS will reopen on Saturday, 9th January, 2021. Truly, this date is a postponement of the old date of November, 2020.
Certainly, this date is according to the President of the Republic of Ghana’s announcement on Sunday, 3rd January, 2021.
Nevertheless, when uds is resuming the 2020/2021 can still be determined by future of the covid-19 pandemic events in Ghana. However, we all pray and hope that the situation does not ever get to that in the future.
Therefore, management and students at University for Development Studies must prepare themselves well to adhere to all covid-19 protocols laid down to reopen schools on 9th January, 2021.
